The machinery building sector focuses on the production and assembly of machinery, equipment and parts for both companies and private individuals. This ranges from agricultural machinery to radiators, from pipelines to rims and from medical devices to parts for the aviation industry.

 

Complete installations for machinery and parts

Soloan designs and develops complete installations for wet coating and powder coating: from simple coating walls with chamber ovens to fully automatic conveyor systems. We also design and delivery rail and hanging systems and welding fume extractor installations.

 

Flexible design

Because their customers increasingly require custom solutions, machinery manufacturers must produce just-in-time and deliver smaller batch orders. These market developments can have consequences for routing and setting up spray, dry and powder coating processes. In these cases, Soloan is also able to use its expertise and modular systems to create the optimal configuration.

 

Extra-low spray walls

Soloan has specially developed extra-low extractor walls for coating and drying long, heavy construction parts. This enables you to achieve the correct air velocity in the work surface with a relatively low air turnover. That creates substantial energy savings on air distribution and heating.

 

Complete pre-treatment

For pre-treating metal surfaces Soloan supplies a range of configurations, such as a series of immersion baths, spray booth or spray tunnel, but also complete pre-treatment installations to match the latest chemical product developments.

Our pre-treatment installations have the following features:

  • custom-built
  • match current developments (technical, chemical, standards and regulations)
  • designed in consultation with you and your chemicals supplier
  • deliverable in steel, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316 and plastic
  • cost- and environmental-savings due to cascade rinsing systems
  • fitted with external heat exchangers that are easy to clean or with a rinsing system for maintenance during production
  • fitted as standard with automatic level and quantity controls
  • function with environmentally-friendly and saving control technologies
  • can be optionally fitted with automatic chemicals dosage and rinsing water control based on conductivity
  • suitable for any type of conveyor line
  • deliverable with centrifuge for stand time extension, oil/water separator, buffer tanks, demi-water installation, water purification units, plastic disaster reservoir, etc.
